So you’ve just stepped onto the Lehman College campus for the first time, and you’re wondering, “What resources does Lehman offer to me, a new transfer student?”

Well, keep reading to find out more about the top 10 resources that Lehman College has to offer to its transfers, and all of its beloved students!

1)    The Transfer Coaching Program- Currently located in Old Gym 118, this program works closely with transfers to ensure a smooth transition into Lehman College, while introducing them to campus life and resources through an array of workshops, social events, and informative tabling sessions. Sadly, this grant funded program will only be available to students for a limited time, so take advantage of it now!

2)    Leonard Lief Library- Aside from the usual benefits of a library, the Leonard Lief Library also provides additional services to Lehman students including:

·       Study rooms for groups of students
·       24/7 access to librarians by phone, face to face visit, or live chat online
·       Ipad loans for use on site for the day, or off campus for up to 2 days

    3)  Child Care Center- Many Lehman students are also parents. The college accommodates this through its brand new, state of the art child care center which offers a safe, supportive, and stable educational environment for children on campus at affordable rates. There are toddler, pre-school, and after-school programs. These services are available to currently enrolled, matriculated students during class-related times and activities on campus.

4)    Career Services- (Shuster Hall room 259) Career Counselors prepare Lehman students to compete for jobs in today's competitive market. Students are offered career counseling, résumé and cover letter building tips, interview preparation, and job info sessions.

5)    Student Support Services- Several services on campus are focused on assisting Lehman students in both their academic and personal lives. Some of these services include:
